OSHA First Aid Requirements

OSHA requires employers to ensure prompt first aid treatment is available for injured employees. This typically means having trained first aid responders on-site or ensuring medical facilities are nearby.

OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.151(b) requires employers to ensure the ready availability of medical personnel for advice and consultation on matters of plant health.
